Ways to Give

A healthy Huron will take more than great physicians, a well-run hospital and state-of-the-art technology. It will take our community getting behind our hopes and vision for the future. It will take you. Please consider a gift to HRMC Foundation. To learn more about the ways you can give, contact the HRMC Foundation, at (605) 353-6315 or foundation@huronregional.org.

Gifts of grain or livestock before sale prevent it from being included in your farm income.

Appreciated Property

Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and real property qualify for a charitable income tax deduction, avoid capital gains taxes and reduce potential estate taxes.

Bequests by Will

You can make a charitable gift by designating a percentage or a specific dollar amount of your estate. This type of gift qualifies for the charitable estate tax deduction. Speak with your financial advisor about a bequest.

Beneficiary Designations

Many financial accounts, CDs, mutual funds, annuities, life insurance policies and retirement accounts allow you to make a charitable gift using beneficiary designations. Consider long-term tax savings, the federal estate tax can still take approximately 50 percent of one's estate at the time of death. That's a higher tax bite than the income tax! Speak with your financial advisor about beneficiary designations.
